Evel and Donald

Shawn Vestal made a thoughtful contribution to the sports page with his Evel and Donald comparison (“No great leap needed to envision Knievel holding trump card,” July 22, 2018) - many similarities.

But there are some differences: Evel fought his own fights, he assumed all his risks, he likely realized farmers would take trade over welfare any day and he didn’t stoop to borrowing money from the KGB.

Evel looks pretty good about now.
