Veterans for Lisa Brown

As a Navy combat veteran I will be supporting Lisa Brown for Congress in November because she is the best choice for veterans issues. As a daughter and wife of veterans she understands the concerns of veterans and active duty personnel. She has pledged to strengthen the VA and make it better. By contrast, her opponent Cathy McMorris Rogers has advocated privatizing parts of the VA health program by allying herself with a group called Concerned Veterans of America, a lobby group funded by the Koch brothers that advocates privatizing the VA. I get excellent medical care from the Spokane VA Medical Center. During the 12 years CMR has been in Congress, VA clinics in Republic and Colville have been closed, and emergency room hours and therapy programs at the Spokane VA have been reduced. Now we learn that the Trump administration is considering eliminating lending protections for VA loans and predatory practices that CMR has not said a word about. We need a change in Washington and Lisa Brown will have my vote in November.
