M’s trading frenzy

Well, now Mariners management has gone too far.

I was upset with trades that dispatched Robinson Cano, James Paxton and Jean Segura to more aspiring baseball clubs. But today I was outraged by a call from General Manager Jerry Dipoto notifying me, a loyal fan, that I’ve been traded to the Red Sox for a seat in Fenway Park, Section G53, to be named later. I know I should be thankful to be going to the home of the World Series champions, but what good is a pennant if you can’t eat toasted grasshoppers and drink a Red Hook IPA?

It’s going to be a long season.
