Albi serves its purpose well

Here we go again. 60 percent of the voters said to leave Joe Albi alone, but the facilities district president says that this was just an advisory vote and they will build a downtown stadium anyway. Will no one stop them, probably not!

Don’t these idiots know that high school students are not going to drive downtown and pay for parking to watch a football game? I think a great number of adults will feel the same way. We’ve been used to free parking at Albi forever. Albi is fine! I don’t get the idea that it needs to be remodeled. So what if it is not full. It serves its purpose!

How do people get on these boards and who are they accountable to? The facilities district is like the STA Board and their push to build a light rail system to the Valley, another idiotic plan. I don’t get the concept of spending millions of dollars to build something that very few people will use, but it will look cool! Are we really into the “Hey look what we have” mode?
