House Ed to hear remaining testimony on science standards today, delay decision ‘til later
House Education Chair Rep. Julie VanOrden, R-Pingree, announced this morning that the committee won’t vote on the school science standards today; it’ll just hear the remainder of the public testimony. “We will be taking it up in the future again to take action on it,” she said. “Because of all this difficult scheduling, I think that it would behoove us to be able to hear the rest of the testimony, be able to take that into consideration when we’re making a decision.”
The House is going on the floor at 10:15 a.m. today.
