House mourns death of Bill Molitor

The Idaho House ended its week on a somber note today, with the news that Bill Molitor, husband of Mary Lou Molitor, the executive assistant to the speaker, passed away last night in his sleep. Molitor, 68, had undergone heart surgery on Sunday and had returned home yesterday afternoon, with all seeming well. The retired financial planner and avid photographer was often at the Statehouse supporting his wife, whom he referred to as “my queen.”

“He’d searched the English language and found the word that completely described the way he felt about her,” said Speaker Scott Bedke, “and it completely describes the way he treated her.”
