Women, get involved!

My 2018 hope is that women will assert our majority and get more involved in local and national politics. We need women to become informed, to register to vote, to vote in elections and to run for every office in the land. We need strong, resourceful candidates with integrity, common sense, an ability to communicate and to listen, who are capable and compassionate, and who understand the definition of public service.

I know women with these qualities. You probably do, too. I want to see them representing us at all levels of government.

Let’s elect people who will work for election finance reform. The current system amounts to legal bribery. Money corrupts politicians.

We need representatives to focus on what “We, the People” desire. The majority of Americans want affordable, effective health care in a stable system. Most want quality education for everyone, including affordable post-high school programs. We want clean air and water for our children.

Women leaders will work with fair-minded men to achieve these goals. They’ll bring fresh perspectives and far-sighted solutions to problems. “Time’s up” to correct the imbalances in our political system.

Together, We, the Majority, can accomplish so much good. Get involved now!
