Blocking legislation by majority

Cathy McMorris Rodgers wants the U.S. Senate to change the filibuster rule so a minority can’t block legislation. She says “This is not about politics. This is about Congress doing its job.”

If she is so concerned about a minority blocking legislation, shouldn’t she use her leadership position in the House of Representatives to end the House’s current “majority of a majority” rule?

It is hypocritical to support the rule allowing a majority of her House Republican Caucus to block legislation supported by an overall House majority, but to oppose the Senate filibuster rule which allows minority Senate Democrats similar power.

Maybe it really is about politics after all.
