Well done, Spokesman

I need to congratulate you for the cover story about Maeve Griffith and her family (“Out of the secret room and into her truth,” Feb. 11).

It was very brave of them to put themselves on the front page and when you read the entire story of their bravery - wow. I am so impressed with this reporting. Imagine having to live with this since she was 5 years old, and then to have the wife she has, this story is impressive. It would not be easy to come out to your family, let alone the city of Spokane. This is a well-written story and it shows the love they have for their family and each other. Well done for so many reasons.
