CEC Committee meets this afternoon for final deliberations, votes

The Legislature’s joint Change in Employee Compensation (CEC) Committee holds its final meeting of the session this afternoon, starting at 3 p.m. in room EW41 of the Capitol; you can listen live here .

The committee is scheduled to hear a couple of final presentations, then debate and vote on its recommendation to JFAC for state employee salaries and benefits for next year. Multiple motions are likely; the committee has 18 members from both parties and both houses. The meeting agenda is online here .

NOTE: The meeting had been scheduled for a larger room, EW 42, that has streaming video, but the 1:30 House Judiciary Committee meeting in that room is still going, so the CEC panel was moved to EW 41.
