The week that was…
On tonight’s “Idaho Reports” on Idaho Public Television, host Melissa Davlin interviews outgoing JFAC Co-Chairs Sen. Shawn Keough, R-Sandpoint, and Rep. Maxine Bell, R-Jerome; producer Seth Ogilvie reports on bail and pretrial issues and a possible constitutional amendment that’s in the works; and Davlin interviews state courts Administrator Sara Thomas about the challenges currently facing Idaho’s judicial system, from aging, non-accessible courthouses to bulging caseloads.
On the pundits panel, I join Davlin, Clark Corbin of Idaho Education News, and Mark Browning, vice president for communications and government affairs at the College of Western Idaho, to talk about the events of “education week” at the state Capitol this week. “Idaho Reports” airs at 8 p.m. Fridays on Idaho Public Television; after it airs, you can watch it here online any time. It also re-airs Sunday at 10 a.m. Mountain time, 9 a.m. Pacific.
