Thank you, CVSD

Having attended the Opportunity Elementary open house on January 9, I walked away feeling exhilarated to be living in the Central Valley School District community. The school board, administrators, teachers and support staff, coupled with the many community volunteers who helped develop the vision to ‘retool’ our aging schools and promote ‘new’ schools, in an effort to help harness our overcrowded facilities, have done a remarkable job. Visiting classroom space that will enhance the learning opportunities for both current and future students is a marked sign of a community that truly cares about the educational future of our children.

As a grandparent of future CVSD students, I simply want to say thank you on their behalf and recognize your commitment to grow within a well designed budgeting process.
