Three letters to the editor published July 6 displayed examples of the leftist thought processes.

The first letter said that all threats and violence against Trump administration officials were exclusively the fault of Donald Trump. Basically she says, “they deserved it.” It is unclear if the author’s logic extends to threats against conservatives, Homeland Security employees and their children, or to those who advocated kidnapping Barron Trump and caging him with pedophiles. Using this author’s logic, rape victims are responsible because “they did something to deserve it.”

The second letter lamented illegal immigrant children being in caged areas and sleeping on the floor with aluminum coated blankets over them. The author fails to mention that the much-circulated picture showing these conditions was taken in 2014.

The third letter, while well-intented, suggested that illegal immigrant families could be reunited by gathering them all together in some big stadium and letting them find each other. However, according to government officials, many of these children were brought into the country by human traffickers posing as their parents to gain entry into the country. You cannot find the parents because they were never really there.
