Trump is not alone
Jen Moody-Watkins states (“Trump’s instability not partisan, June 20), “It is an entire nation versus one single man.” If that were true, he would not have been elected.
Enough people in enough states voted for him to elect him and they still support him because of his policies. Regulations are reduced, producing increased employment and a more hopeful attitude. He is not autonomous; he has many appointed advisors and elected state representatives to keep a check on what he does. One doesn’t have to like the President or agree with him, but his policies have put the country on a road to a prosperity we haven’t seen for a long time.
He call to “Impeach Donald Trump,” echoes others who refuse to acknowledge his positive impact on our life and economy. I have reread Article II, Section 4, of the constitution which clearly defines impeachable behaviors. I see no evidence of those behaviors. Perhaps Ms. Moody-Watkins should read it.
We all have our opinions. We have a right to express them because of our Constitution. But we should not express as a statement of fact, something based only on our opinion, which too often is not base on fact.
