Chase will be great commissioner

I met Rob Chase after falling way behind in my property taxes several years ago. I wrote to every elected office holder and only a few responded but said they could not help me. Rob called me and got involved. He fought against every county treasurer in the state. They all wanted to keep the current system — with crushing fines and penalties — and he got a few bills through the state Legislature in Olympia allowing for partial payments.

He is not a partisan politician and serves all people. He asked the workers in the treasurer’s office for their input and transformed the treasurer’s office to run smoother than ever and saved money and time for the taxpayers. He wants to be a county commissioner now and I endorse him 100 percent. He has gone door-belling in person to many neighborhoods in the county and has already walked over 1 million steps so far according to his Fitbit. He wants the job.

If you see an Elect Rob Chase sign along the highway, he most likely planted it there. He changed the Spokane County treasurer’s office for the better and now he will be a great county commissioner. Elect Rob Chase.
