Don’t forget Hoffman

The Sunday, July 15, piece, “28 hopefuls chase Cantwell in U.S. Senate primary,” included a summary that missed the mark by omitting a description of Steve Hoffman, Freedom Socialist Party representative.

He is not one of five Democrats or one of twelve Republicans. He certainly is not one of the “novices vying to be the most supportive of President Donald Trump.” And he lives in Seattle, not California.

He’s not a Libertarian, not a Green Party. And he certainly didn’t make up the name of his party. Freedom Socialist Party has been around for 50 years. He’s not running as an independent.

Steve Hoffman is the only socialist on the ballot, one who the Spokesman-Review has interviewed, and certainly the one I’m voting for!

Don’t forget him.
