Surviving a presidency

I absolutely loved Max Boot’s, “How I Miss Obama.”

What a well-written, thoughtful comparison of two presidents - one a dignified, well-spoken leader and the other a ridiculous, silly and self-absorbed person.

And I enjoyed, sadly, Bob Schatz’s letter to the editor, “They have each other” and George Rickert’s, “Body language loud and clear.” I hope many took time to read them and think about what’s happening.

Having served in the Army during the ‘70s and ‘80s, I know something of the Russian/Soviet leader/KGB mindset and it’s scary what’s happening today. Mr. Schatz’s and Mr. Rickert’s words may be truer than we know.

I really hope and pray that we survive as a country for the duration of this “presidency.”
