Handling high school traffic

I was reading a letter to the editor regarding the CVSD location on Sprague and Henry being located on the Spokane Gun Club property and all the lead that will need to be cleaned out.

My concern also is the traffic impact it will cause on Sprague. I live on the corner of Sprague and Barker. Sprague Avenue will not be able to handle all the traffic that the school will cause. I would say the school should put the access road to the school to come off the Appleway/Country Vista road. If they have to widen Sprague I hope they realize the impact on property owners along the road.

I have a problem with the Spokane Valley already where they made access to the front of my house on Barker almost impossible for deliveries with the so-called ditch (swale) they put in. My opinion is this city does not do a very good study on the impact it has on property owners. But do they care?
