CMR’s damage to middle class

I just received another partisan campaign letter from Cathy McMorris Rodgers, “prepared, published and mailed at taxpayer expense,” with her signature where the stamp should be. She puts her spin on all the great things she has been doing for us but you can find factual and clear-cut information in The Spokesman-Review’s publication of the weekly tallies of exactly how she voted. Everyone should pay attention.

In these votes you will find that Rodgers always votes for any measures that help the corporations and the billionaires. (HR 1, H Con Res 71, HR 849, HR 3905, HR 5269, HR 4269, HR 4607, HR 5645, SJR 57).

And she blocks any attempt by the Democrats to bring any matter to the floor for discussion or debate. Even consideration of such things as immigration reform, background checks, protecting Social Security and Medicare, cost of prescription drugs, Russian interference, requirements for presidential candidates to release their tax returns and so on, is refused.

So try to avoid the gossip of adultery and collusion and conspiracy on prime-time cable TV and focus on the damage being done to the middle class by Rodgers and her Republican colleagues.
