Parents, do your job

Wake up America! Quit blaming schools, police and government. It is time for parents to be parents. Teach your children the rules - teach them to respect honesty. Or in other words, do your job!

You as a parent should be responsible for your children and what they do. Put away all the cute devices. Spend time with your child, know them and know what they do and with whom. Be available to them.

Also the number of people who are having children when they themselves are addicts or alcoholics and the children are put into a system, left on streets and are actually a paycheck increase to the welfare recipients.

The parenting or lack of it is the biggest contribution to our very lacking society. You can march and give speeches but nothing will change until people either become real parents or quit reproducing. Look closely at the people you know and tally up how many are raising our delinquent children and they should be held accountable for the damage and grief these people are causing to the innocent people.

I am an old person who grew up in the era of respect, love of our families and no locked doors. Not everything new is better.
