Giving away our resources

The smoke and mirrors of distraction are in full gear. Watch the latest Avista TV ads. The overpaid leadership is pushing through the selling of Avista to a foreign company - EnergyOne of Canada (4,000 miles from Spokane).

If Avista customers had a vote on the sale, do you think we would favor the selling our only power source to a foreign country? Shame on the overpaid leaders of Avista. Why not make Avista a public utility district?

Get ready for higher utility bills, e.g., Canadian carbon tax. You have a voice: comments@utc.wa.gov. But as long as we are giving away a natural resource, why not throw in the “Bowl and Pitcher?” - Ah!
