Demonizing Trump

It’s always amusing when someone quotes the Bible out of context to suit their opinion.

Nina Elo (“No two masters,” June 17) quotes Jesus’ words “No man can serve two masters” (Matthew 6:24 and Luke 16:13) to condemn Christians who support President Trump and his policies. The problem with her quote is that the passage in both gospels is about the love of money/worldly riches and not letting it be your master, and not about “serving” a person over Jesus.

Her letter is just another lame attempt to demonize Trump supporters.
