Be true Americans

The night of June 19, 2018, marked the low spot in our treatment of people outside our own community. Now we know what is happening to the infants and toddlers that are being ripped from the arms of their parents. They are incarcerated in separate detention facilities away from family and sent to courtrooms without legal or any representation and forced to face our judiciary to decide their fate.

How can this happen in this nation? How can anyone be so callous and cruel in this country! Where is our Holy Spirit?

I would like to believe that we are a compassionate people on the whole. I would like to believe that, but I cannot after what I am seeing happen in my country.

Where are all of the religious leaders and their followers?

If you profess to be compassionate and God-fearing, then do something to stop this horror. We have and do condemn other countries for their abuses. Walk the walk if you talk the talk.

If we must deport people then they must be deported as a family, not separated and left at the mercy of the government.

Be true Americans. Stop this horror!
