He brought us to this

Following liberation of the concentration camps of WWII where approximately 6 million Jews were exterminated, the Americans and Allied forces made sure to march the German civilians through the camps to see what had occurred under Nazi rule. They shook their heads in shame and said, “Hitler brought us to this.” It took a while for them to understand that people who stood by and let this happen, like themselves, were also considered Nazis.

Now we are watching, in front of our eyes, as 2-year-olds are torn from their mothers, shoelaces taken so they can’t use them as a weapon or hang themselves, and separated from their families, with no photos or records to document what child belongs to what parent, because Trump considers them disposable human beings and has no plan to ever reunite them.

Trump voters, you are complicit in this child abuse unless you contact Cathy McMorris Rodgers and demand a change from Trump – there is no legislation needed to change this zero tolerance policy just announced in April – this has all been engineered by Donald Trump and his racist administration.

Don’t try to pretend, after the fact, that “Trump brought us to this.”
