Compliments on Valentine’s issue

I was simply dazzled by your Valentine’s Day article showcasing “Spokane Love Stories.” Great photos by Colin Mulvany and wonderful readers’ stories of romance and fun. It was a welcome respite from politics, violent crimes and other despicable deeds.

What a treat to revisit A&W drive-in rendezvous, Boy Scout jamborees, college first dates and bingo competitions. I especially loved the river romance story by Keith Veselits. But, hey, I confess, I’m a little biased - that good looking guy holding the roses behind his back is my brother.

Thank you, thank you for sending out a whole lot of love to all of us S-R readers. It’s been four days now, and I’m still smiling.

Denae Veselits
