Blue Apron boxes a joke

Trump’s Blue Apron “one size fits all” boxes are a joke. Food allergies are common here - peanuts are on the list along with artificial sweeteners. Many people can’t digest milk. Others can’t eat meat from animals treated with antibiotics.

Many elderly on food stamps are on restricted diets and have problems eating certain foods like corn. Then there is the mercury in tuna fish which children under six can no longer have.

USDA programs often end up as dumping grounds for unpopular foods and they often only give half of what you need for a meal: flour but no yeast or baking powder, pasta but no tomato sauce.

Forcing people to buy food they can’t eat is abusive, discriminatory and a waste of time and money.
