Cathy does and will represent us

The latest debate between Cathy McMorris Rodgers and Lisa Brown.

Lisa Brown repeated many of the same claims, saying that Cathy does not support farmers, that she doesn’t care about people having health care, that the tax cuts only help the rich, or that she hasn’t done enough for veterans.

Cathy’s responses to these attacks are very powerful. She has spoken out strongly on behalf of Eastern Washington farmers to oppose the new trade tariffs, and she’s working hard to get the new Farm Bill passed. She’s fighting for health care reform to reduce premiums, while protecting people with pre-existing conditions. The recent tax cuts that Cathy supported are helping middle- and low-income working families and they are fueling economic growth. She has led on improvements to the VA and personally helped many local veterans get services they need.

To me, Cathy’s formal endorsements speak just as loudly.

Which candidate has the support of the Washington State Farm Bureau? Cathy McMorris Rodgers. Who’s supported by the NFIB, the voice of small business? Cathy. The National Association of Women Business Owners? Cathy again. U.S. Chamber of Commerce? Cathy. Campaign for Working Families? Yes, Cathy.
