Trump flees weather

The American women and men who have and continue to serve our country have lived through harsh and brutal conditions in a heroic effort to defend the Constitution and democracy.

They have lived and died in the insanity of war hoping to make a difference in our world.

As the daughter of a World War II veteran who served in the CBI theater (China Burma India), I am beyond appalled that the well-manicured and -tailored Donald Trump — all warm and cozy in his thousand-dollars outfit — had to cut the trip short due to weather.

Even more appalling is that Cathy McMorris Rodgers and the Spokesman-Review stand behind this regime. Shameful is too mild a word.
