Cox is the only choice

Thank goodness this latest season of politics is winding down. It’s a shame to see the nastiness from the federal level all the way to county races. When choosing to avoid the muck, the clear choice is to vote for Trina Cox for Stevens County treasurer – because she is one of the few honest candidates.

Trina has lived in the area nearly all of her life; she has raised her family here. But because she lives here isn’t the reason for supporting her, instead she gives back to the area. For years, Trina has been involved with the Northeast Washington Fair, she has molded young women for the future through the fair royalty, she has coached multiple sports. This was all extracurricular.

Professionally, she has overseen and managed millions of dollars in state timber sales, which provides state trust funding for schools. She is responsible for millions more in pay for our firefighters and fire support. All while maintaining honesty and integrity.

People know Trina Cox and are going to vote for her because they respect and appreciate all she has done for this community. I know I will, and I hope you do the same. Thank you.
