Don’t sit this election out

The upcoming election in November may be seen by some voters as not that important, since we are not electing a president this year. However, we will be choosing whether Lisa Brown or Cathy McMorris Rodgers will be sent to Washington as our representative in the House, and that makes it a very important election indeed.

The Trump presidency has been a disaster for our country, and we badly need our elected officials in Washington, D.C., to stand up against the policies and decisions that are isolating us against the rest of the world, and endangering our clean air and water, and rolling back regulations that must be preserved for our children’s future.

Cathy has been and will continue to be a rubber stamp for the Trump regime. I strongly urge you to vote for Lisa in this election, and talk to your friends and neighbors about how important it is to vote for her. Don’t sit this election out!

And go some steps further by volunteering to work on Lisa’s behalf: contact her campaign headquarters and spend time canvassing or phone banking or sign-waving. Or get a Lisa shirt and be a mobile yard sign. It all helps!
