Old-fashioned justice

In regards to the news report on the rescued kitties, I would like to know what happened to the owners who so cruelly neglected them?

Were they arrested, accused of a crime?

Yes, I realize these were just animals, not babies or youngsters, but where is the justice?

I guess if we can’t expect adults to be held accountable for murdering, abusing or neglecting children, why should we think otherwise when it happens to a defenseless animal?

Makes me long for the Old West. The law knew how to take care of business. Settle the score, right a wrong, then they moved on. No need to dwell on matters, nor wonder why a person would do such a despicable thing.

They made penalties fit the crimes and everybody understood. No surprises.

America, there is your solution!
