This concerns Elizabeth Cobb’s letter of July 17 (“My grandson’t world”).

Ms. Cobbs, I will pray for your grandson. I pray that he could watch a news program and not be subjected to the bullying fowl mouth of Robert De Niro, the anti-Semitic racist verbiage of Omar, the ranting ravings of Tlaib yelling “mother f-er” for the whole world to hear and witnessing George Lopez pretending to urinate on Trump’s star on the Hollywood walk of fame. Real or not, he’s a sicko! Are these the types you’re talking about when you think of greatness? They make Trump look like a choir boy.

Wouldn’t this have been something for your grandson to experience? Teach him that this is how we go after that hateful, contemptuous, racist viper we have as a president.

After all, we wouldn’t want to lose all sense of purpose, dignity, compassion and decency. Also, in his 1992 campaign, Bill Clinton repeatedly said, “Make America great again.” That’s OK for him to say it, right?”
