Will it ever stop?

It was another beautiful Sunday in Spokane, but for the people of El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio? I imagine it’s a day of grief. Another city, another mass shooting. Again. What will it take for this nightmare to stop?

I can’t point the finger at anyone but I will point a finger at our president, Mr. Trump. His rhetoric, his constant statements regarding immigrants, what a rat-infested city Baltimore is. The list never ends. That man is not uniting this country. He most definitely is dividing it.

I am heartsick. Again and again, the news cycle will regurgitate it all for a few days and move on to the next tragedy. By the way - where has our president been? If I remember correctly, President Bush was in New York the day after 9/11 happened. President Obama gave speeches to our nation every time a mass shooting happened. Where is Trump? Playing golf.

How can Trump supporters continue to support this man? He spreads nothing but hatred. He’s toxic.

Twenty-nine people lost their lives in less than 24 hours this weekend. Because the shooters were so full of hate and animosity towards people who were different. Our country is going down a very slippery slope. Wake up people and say a silent prayer for those lives lost.
