King of Debt

President Trump owes Spokane money. The self-proclaimed “King of Debt” is leaving unpaid bills everywhere he goes.

At least ten cities, including Spokane, Mesa and Tucson, Arizona; Erie, Pennsylvania; Green Bay and Eau Claire, Wisconsin; Burlington, Vermont, Billings, Montana; Lebanon, Ohio; and El Paso, Texas, have billed over $1 million to the Trump administration for costs associated with hosting his political rallies. Some of the debts are two years old.

Furthermore, Trump’s July 4 narcissistic rally in Washington, D.C., cost the nation’s capital $1.7 million, and the mayor wants Trump to pay the bill. Good luck, Madam Mayor, you have a better chance getting money from a pig wearing lipstick.

As a businessman Trump has a long track record of not paying bills. He either gets a court settlement for pennies on the dollar or declares bankruptcy to avoid charges altogether. It’s always the workers and taxpayers that suffer.

To make matters worse, Deadbeat Don has apparently passed that character flaw on to his progeny. Taxpayers subsidize his kids’ luxury travel. It’s bad enough that we’ve spent $108 million on Trump’s golfing mania, now we’re paying for his political rallies and kids vacations!
