Fight for our rights

I applaud letter writer Ping Ping (“Show your support,” Aug. 15) for wanting to leave an oppressive country and live in the U.S.A. to enjoy the liberty and freedoms that Americans have fought for.

Though I am rather confused at why Ping Ping would join an organization (Moms Demand Action) that would strip Americans of the same liberties and freedoms that brought her to the U.S.A.

If Ping Ping really wanted to make a difference, she would go to Washington, D.C., and demand that the legislature stops infringing on her rights, the rights of the people and demand they abide by the Constitution.
