What we’ve got
“If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.”
As a lifelong, 60-year resident of Spokane, I don’t like what we’ve got. High property crime rates. Out-of-control drug usage. Businesses downtown closing up shop because of the transient population. Homeless teens running amok in downtown. City Council members more concerned about their public image than making tough decisions. City Council members more concerned about the non-working, non-taxpaying residents that the working class citizen.
Will Nadine Woodward do a better job? Don’t know. But I do know what Ben Stuckart has delivered as council president.
“The true definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and hoping for different results.”
