City Council expected to work

So the City Council is upset because the mayor wants them to work 36 hours a week. Well if for no other reason than the fact that I got a measly 1.6% Social Security. raise (approximately $25 a month) and I just read that they get a 44% raise for the work they do.

Come on, they make more to work less hours than a lot of people in Spokane. Quit your whining or get out. But wait - maybe you don’t have your five years in yet to get your 65% of wages plus bennies when you retire from your part-time job!
