Inmates running the prisons

I really don’t know why the prison system goes through all the hassle of rejecting the prisoners’ requests, as in the Walla Walla hunger strike. They caved and got exactly what they wanted; this hunger strike here in Connell will end in a few days so that the prisoners will get what they want also.

I always thought that you were put in jail or prison for punishment of your crime, not to get the best treatment of all time, for anything you want (sex change) etc. Guess I was wrong all along.
