What about other laws?

I’m having a bit of trouble understanding how a gaggle of local sheriffs can refuse to enforce currently valid laws based on their own personal whims and opinions. How do they feel about laws involving motor vehicles, crimes or prostitution?

Somehow I feel that this isn’t the way things are supposed to work. My opinion is that they are violating their oaths of office.
