Wall? Let voters decide

Politics, yuk! Many of the politicians who once favored a border wall to prevent our enemies from coming through the windows and down the chimney (Ho-ho-ho) are now opposed to any idea that they must come through the gate and be vetted like all legitimate visitors to any other country on Earth.

We will have our wall, whether on the border or between and amongst ourselves, for it seems like something as stupid as politics is dividing our beloved country with no solution or remedy in sight.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (whose salaries are already being paid), could build such a wall in a New York minute.

Why not let the voters and taxpayers decide for themselves whether or not they wish to have a protected border just like all other nations? Write your congressperson and demand that such a measure be put on the next federal ballot. If there is room enough on the ballot for their “honorable” names. Surely we can demand to vote on an issue that will put a stop to their insufferable lack of statesmanship. Yes for the wall!
