Licensing people common sense

This letter is written in response to the guest opinion, “License people, not guns,” (Craig Mason, Dec. 26).

Finally an interesting proposal for gun rights. I don’t agree with some of the ideas about private licensing but with all that hysteria going on with both the pro- and anti-gun groups, it’s a place we can start with common sense. Thank you for printing the guest opinion. Very well written.
