Trump’s ongoing lies

“Oh what a tangled web we weave when once we fashion to deceive.”

During his many stump stops on his presidential campaign, then-candidate Trump promised his audience time and again that he would build a wall to stop the immigrants coming across the U.S. Mexican border and that Mexico would pay for it! It was a lie then and he knew it but his rabid audience screamed and applauded for a ploy that had no validity.

Now, over two years later, in an effort to keep that base appeased and to not have to admit his many unsubstantiated lies, he has mandated a government shutdown that has put 800,000 federal workers out of work and pay and is putting many of our federal agencies in great peril.

This man is a pathological liar who is a narcissistic sociopath who will do whatever is required to prove to himself and his Cabinet and Republican Congress that they don’t need to possess any integrity because he has none. Our nation has relied for over 200 years on leaders who realized that integrity begins with “I” … Where are you who claim to possess integrity?
