Walls are easily breached

Most of us have a fence that acts as a divider between us and our neighbors. The kids climb over the fence and the dogs dig under it. The fence doesn’t keep anyone out or in. Trump’s wall would have the same result. It wouldn’t keep out terrorists, rapists, murders and drug runners. It might stop a mother with a small child until she gets help to get over the wall.

Since the border is so long, it’s unlikely that everyone scaling the wall would be immediately caught by ICE on our side. The wall is nothing more than a symbol like our backyard fence. Our congresswoman can’t find the money to finish the freeway, but she is all in on spending billions for a symbolic wall. The wall also keeps aliens from leaving the USA and it restricts our freedom to enter and leave our country.

I want the freeway completed and if you need a political wall just turn the border into a 2,000-mile-long landfill. America certainly has enough garbage to make a long wall and it would match the image I have of our president.
