What’s important to Dems?
Those who want to protect America from socialism’s decaying effects, or the disharmony of multiculturalism, understand that the flow of foreigners entering the United States must be gradual. Physical barriers are a necessary and integral part of a comprehensive system for stanching illegal immigration.
The fact that tear gas had to be used to subdue people who rush at barrier-free portions of our southern border is proof that additional lengths of physical barrier are necessary. Substantial physical barriers render tear gas unnecessary, and women and children unharmed.
If walls and fences weren’t effective barriers they wouldn’t be around prisons, embassies, military installations, industrial plants, residential developments, and a myriad of various and sundry other occupied spaces. When coupled with surveillance systems at our borders, these types of physical barriers affect people’s movement sufficiently to provide greater success in enforcing our immigration laws.
Democrats can stop the government funding impasse as easily as Republicans and President Trump. Democrats are just as responsible as President Trump and the Republicans for federal employees not receiving their paychecks. To say a barrier is immoral or ineffective seems disingenuous. What’s more important to Democrats than the well-being of federal employees and national parks? Power? Hate of Trump?
