A wall compromise

Trump visited California after the horrific fires and scolded California for not raking the forest. A few days later he took away the FEMA funds because of the lack of “raking.” Has he ever seen a forest?

But I digress. A recent quote from Trump referring to the government shutdown: “We will be out a long time unless the Democrats budge.” Because of the damage Trump is causing, I think we Democrats need to budge. We need to step up and offer to provide 200 miles of eight-foot high chicken wire fencing with some added barbed wire. If Trump’s base wants in on the fun they could provide the fence posts. Perhaps his rural supporters have trees on their land. Trump is very rich and a builder, he could pony up and pay for the labor to build the fence. Maybe provide some jobs for Mexican immigrants. After it is up I think the Donald should hang “HUUGE” photos of himself on the Mexican side of the fence. He can then constantly glare at and forcefully scare away those poor families seeking asylum.

By the way, they aren’t bringing in drugs - drugs come in via legal ports of entry.
