Stuckart’s strong record

I strongly endorse Ben Stuckart for mayor for three reasons: Ben gets things done; Ben is focused on our city’s greatest opportunities and challenges; Ben has empathy for all residents.

I had the opportunity to serve on the Spokane City Council with Ben Stuckart for six years. Together, we navigated challenging issues such as reducing Spokane River pollution, increasing neighborhood safety and business opportunities in areas that have been neglected, such as Hillyard and East Sprague, and increasing the number of police and firefighters. Ben led the effort to work with voters to approve funding for streets and parks to improve our quality of life.

Over the past three years, Ben also led the way in researching and supporting strategies to address housing needs of all our residents: seniors, working families, homeless. As mayor, he will work collaboratively with business and social service agencies to increase affordable housing for all.

I know Ben Stuckart will be a successful mayor because of his strong record supporting Spokane’s priorities, but also because he has shown great empathy for other people’s point of view and a strong sense of justice.

Join me in voting Ben Stuckart for mayor.
