Spokane’s next great leader

Spokane always seems to find the right leader at the right time. From Democrat Tom Foley to Republican Kevin Parker, we have been blessed time and again with common-sense leaders who simply want to do right for our great city.

Today we can support our next great leader! Please vote Cindy Wendle in as City Council president. In this unprecedented era of mean-spirited and divisive dialogue from both sides of the political aisle, Spokane needs a new leader who can bring people together with common sense, caring and compassion. Cindy Wendle is that person.

I have known Cindy almost her whole life, and no one will work harder for all of our citizens. Cindy is smart, passionate, and careful to hear all sides before making decisions. To be sure, Spokane is facing some very difficult challenges, but I have never seen Spokane better positioned for opportunity in the 28 years I have lived here.

What we need is a City Council president who is civil, strategic and understands the underpinning values that make Spokane such a wonderful city. Please support and vote for Cindy Wendle as City Council president.
