Sartorial dunce

The chief executive officers of major U.S. companies make sure that they look the very best. One way the CEOs do that is to have custom bespoke suits and formal wear made for them.

One would expect that would be the same for the United States’ chief executive officer - aka the president. But that is simply not the case.

President Trump showed up for the dinner hosted by Queen Elizabeth II with an ill-fitting tuxedo and vest for the white tie event. The buttons on the white vest looked like they were ready to pop off. Donald, you can’t hide your girth caused by McDonald “hamberders” and fries!

Looking at the photo of Trump with Queen Elizabeth II made me very embarrassed for our country.

One would expect that the president would have custom-made suits and formal wear to be appropriately attired during events. Hint: a tie that goes all the way to your knees isn’t appropriate.

When Trump gets back to the White House, he needs to be fitted with a custom “D” dunce cap to wear in the Oval Office until he can get tailored clothes.
