“Opera House” is traditional

Thank you, Tom Armitage, for your letter (“It’s an opera house,” May 26), as I have thought the same thing for years. So keep the name - Opera House. For those of us who have lived here since Expo (and before) it will always be the Opera House. I understand the need for financial help is keeping it going but my suggestion is to call it The Opera House sponsored by “x.” I do not remember it as anything else and I doubt that many others do.

One more comment - the new seats in the opera house are very uncomfortable - smaller and harder. I would take the old ones any day over the new.
