GOP is the problem
Alas, I was once a Republican, but no longer. Thomas E. Mann and Norman J. Ornstein summed it up in their article “Let’s Face It: The Republicans Are the Problem.” Their assessment was that “The GOP has become an insurgent outlier in American politics. It is ideologically extreme; scornful of compromise; unmoved by conventional understanding of facts, evidence and science; and dismissive of the legitimacy of its political opposition.”
Trump is against illegal immigration while at the same time hiring undocumented persons for work at his golf clubs, some for over 15 years. He’s against birthright citizenship, but four of Trump’s five children were born to a non-U.S. citizen immigrant. Is Trump going to deport them back to the Czech Republic or Slovakia?
A hallmark of Trump’s presidential campaign and a stated push of his administration is that U.S. companies should hire American workers. President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort has been granted 70 visas to bring in foreign workers for the winter season.
Bill Maher covered it superbly in his YouTube video titled “New Rule: The Republicans Are the Problem.”
